Smoking areas at KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2) are available to accommodate travelers who smoke. These facilities are strategically located throughout the terminal to ensure convenience while adhering to Malaysia’s strict no-smoking policies in public areas.

The designated smoking areas are equipped with appropriate equipment e.g. ash tray and disposal bins.

Proper notices are displayed with appropriate signage to ensure that all smoking materials are properly extinguished and disposed off in accordance with good and safe housekeeping practices.

Before entering the klia2 Main Terminal Building, a designated zone at the left and right wing outside of the Main Terminal Building is allocated as Smoking Zone.

At these designated smoking areas, you can watch flights landing and taking off at Gate / Pier J and Gate / Pier K & L.

You can easily find smokers gathering at both left and right side of the Main Terminal Building at KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2).

This area has proven to be a good spot for watching the flights and observing the surrounding areas of the KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2).

A dedicated smoking lounge is available at Level 2 of the Satellite Building in KLIA Terminal 2 (klia2). It is located near the Khazanah Home Decor shop and the charging station.

The smoking lounges at klia2 are designed to provide a comfortable and ventilated environment for users. Equipped with seating arrangements, ashtrays, and proper ventilation systems, these facilities aim to minimize discomfort caused by secondhand smoke.

The rooms are regularly cleaned and maintained to uphold hygiene standards, ensuring a relatively pleasant experience for those using them. The Smoking Lounge is located at the right corner side of the Satellite Building.

The officers from the Selangor health department may spot check the airport from time to time, checking for those who flout Malaysia’s smoking regulations.
